A Deadly Sin

Tracie Podger

A Deadly SinThere are seven deadly sins, so they say.
Pride, Envy, Wrath, Gluttony, Lust, Sloth, and Greed.

We are guilty of them all. But what happens when someone decides to become judge, jury, and executioner of those that commit these sins?

Detective Mich Curtis is thrown back into a world he thought he’d managed to struggle out of. A secret past he thought he'd buried is uncovered and collides with his present.

It started as a simple murder case to solve – it became a fight to survive.

Seven sins, seven murders – who will be the last man standing?
The executioner or the only person fucked up enough to get inside his mind?

A gripping dark thriller following a detective on the hunt for a killer - for readers over the age of 18

The Review

This is the first book which I have read by Tracie Podger and I can assure you it did not disappoint. I asked for something a bit dark and gritty and that is exactly what I got from Ava Manello's recommendation. I didn't quite know what to expect when reading this as its slightly deviates from my romance genre. However I was pleasantly surprised by how much I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was refreshing to read a thriller with the slight love concept entangled through out the story but being the main concept of the story.

A Deadly Sin will have you second guessing from the very first page with twists and turns you did not see coming. I read this book over two night shifts at work and it kept my brain alive; even when I wasn't reading my mind was still trying to figure out who the killer was.

When the book ended I was shocked; distraught even, why oh why would you do that too me?!? Luckily Tracie was sunning herself in Egypt and not just with in a train drive in order for me to commit one of my own deadly sins! Don't worry Mrs Podger, your story telling has given me many ideas! HA HA HA!

Thank you to Tracie for a truly enticing novel. Now you best hurry up and release a new installment to it!
